Falcon provided geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and inspection services at Roanoke Regional Airport for over five years. Specifically, geotechnical engineering services included evaluations of existing runways, taxiways, and apron pavement systems, in-situ testing of subgrades, and recommendations for subgrade improvement systems. Falcon also created an engineering report with geotechnical recommendations for two stormwater detention basins, stormwater drainage systems and grading improvements to fillet areas. An extensive testing and inspection program was also performed for P-152 excavation and embankment utilizing the sand cone density test procedure.
