Craige Deck Vertical Expansion

I just wanted to take a moment to commend you and the team at Falcon Engineering for the great efforts that went into the UNC Craige Parking Deck Geotechnical Engineering Project. Falcon not only delivered the project on time, while working through tremendous obstacles including a fully occupied parking deck and a very tight Holiday schedule, but managed to save the University money through a value added scope option only possible by leveraging the Falcon Engineering Team’s experience. Project Description

Falcon performed geotechnical engineering, materials testing, and special inspections for this vertical parking deck expansion project. Due to the time-sensitive nature of the project, Falcon provided the University a value-engineered scope alternative and an aggressive project schedule, saving time and money and minimal impact to the end users. Project challenges included limited height clearance, site sensitivity issues, space utilization considerations, and other logistical challenges for a functioning parking deck.
