Rated by U.S. News as one of the most diverse campuses in the nation, UNC Pembroke is nestled in the middle of Robeson County – the political and cultural center of North Carolina’s largest American Indian tribe – the Lumbees. Its Business School holds the prestigious distinction of AASCB accreditation, an honor less than 5 percent of business schools worldwide achieves. It is also the home of the Thomas Entrepreneurship Hub —a business incubator whose purpose is to establish and grow businesses in the region. The Hub has created 94 jobs since 2016.

Yesterday, on April 27th, UNC Pembroke held their ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new School of Business – the James A. Thomas Hall building. This new building is a cutting-edge learning space for North Carolina’s next generation of executives and entrepreneurs. In addition to 14 classrooms, the building includes a career services center, a lecture auditorium, an interactive market-style trading room, video conference room, computer lab, collaborative study spaces, and a multimedia resource room that empowers students to engage in the global conversation.

Falcon had the privilege of providing construction materials testing and special inspections for the project.
