Kim’s role at Falcon: Marketing Manager

Tell us something that might surprise us about you?
I grew up on a road surrounded by family. I think that’s a rarity these days. Looking back now, I see what a gift it was.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
In elementary school, I remember I wanted to be a hair stylist. In high school, I thought about interior design. No surprise that both leaned toward the creative side. I was never a big fan of math or science; funny, considering my Dad has a degree in math and my Mom has a degree in biology.

Tell us about what you enjoy doing outside of work.
Doing anything creative, I find enjoyable – from graphic design at work to decorating at home. In the past few years, I’ve taken up photography. It definitely takes a lot of practice to understand all the ins-and-outs of the camera, but I enjoy the creative outlet. I also like to get outside and exercise – it gets the endorphin’s going and clears the mental clutter!

Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
I did a study “abroad” program for a month in Hawaii during college. That was (and still is) the longest plane ride I have ever been on, but well worth the trip. I’m thankful that I was able to go through a school program, because, beyond the beautiful beaches and scenery, I was able to learn and see so much of the native culture that I would not have experienced otherwise.

What do you enjoy most about working at Falcon?
I enjoy the culture and the camaraderie among the staff at Falcon. Each of us play an important role in the overall success of Falcon; we are recognized often, and appreciated among fellow colleagues and management for our accomplishments and contributions. The half day Fridays in the summer are also a plus!
