Being that this was Durham County Engineering’s first project using the Construction Manager @ Risk delivery method, our staff is devoted to making this a successful project illustrating to our Board and upper management that this method is beneficial for projects of this size and complexity. In our attempt to put together a team of reputable and knowledgeable experts it was only fitting that we used the services of Falcon Engineering to provide the Construction Materials & Testing/Special Inspections for the project. Simply put, we needed “a team we could count on and that would deliver to aid us in providing the quality control necessary for a project of this significance for our staff and citizens”. The timeliness of the inspections and thorough reporting once on-site has been beneficial for the C, M @ R, the design team and the owner’s representatives on this project.
